  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan.
  2. Combine sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then fold in mascarpone cheese.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt before combining with the wet ingredients.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the pan, layer with apple mixture, then top with remaining batter.
  6. For the crumble topping, mix oats, brown sugar, flour, and melted butter until crumbly; sprinkle over the torta.
