  • 1.5 pounds ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil. Sauté onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes until softened. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Cook the ribeye steak for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Stir in Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Split hoagie rolls and spread butter on the cut sides. Toast until golden brown.
  4. Assemble sandwiches by layering steak and vegetables on the rolls, topping with provolone cheese.
  5. Return sandwiches to the skillet or broiler for 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.
