  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 lb strawberries, sliced
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, dissolve the strawberry jello in boiling water and let it cool.
  2. For the crust, melt unsalted butter in a saucepan, stir in sugar and crushed pretzels, then press into a baking pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes; cool completely.
  4. Beat cream cheese with sugar until smooth; fold in whipped topping.
  5. Spread cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  6. Mix sliced strawberries into the cooled jello and pour over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours until set. Slice and serve chilled.
