  • 1/4 cup Low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Honey (or agave syrup)
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar (apple cider or balsamic)
  • 1 tsp Fresh ginger (paste or finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic (paste or finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp Red chili flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 6 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Instructions

  1. In a deep mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, vinegar, ginger, garlic, black pepper, thyme, oregano, paprika, and optional red chili flakes until well combined.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and coat evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours to maximize flavor absorption.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375°F – 400°F). Remove chicken from marinade and let excess drip off before placing on the grill.
  4. Grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and juices run clear (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  5. Allow the chicken to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
