Ingredients
Scale
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast (or thighs), thinly sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup shredded green cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
½ cup sliced mushrooms (shiitake or button)
¼ cup green onions, sliced
¼ cup hoisin sauce
8 moo shu pancakes or flour tortillas
Instructions
Marinate the chicken by combining it with soy sauce and cornstarch in a mixing bowl. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry for approximately 5 to 7 minutes until cooked through.
Add minced garlic, shredded cabbage, carrots, and mushrooms to the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
Pour in the hoisin sauce and mix well until everything is evenly coated. Cook for another minute until heated through.
Warm the moo shu pancakes or tortillas in another pan or microwave until pliable.
Serve by spooning filling into pancakes/tortillas and folding them up.
