  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup apple juice (substitute for bourbon)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns (toasted)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving drippings in the pan.
