  • 1 Baguette (about 25 inches long)
  • 10 oz Brie cheese
  • 1 Anjou pear
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Clove Garlic (crushed)
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh rosemary (finely chopped)
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh thyme (finely chopped)
  • 23 Tbsp balsamic reduction

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven's broiler.
  2. Slice the baguette diagonally into ½ inch thick slices.
  3. Mix crushed garlic with olive oil and brush this mixture on both sides of the baguette slices.
  4. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and broil for about 2 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway.
  5. Place sliced brie on top of the toasted baguettes and return to the broiler for another 2 minutes until melted.
  6. Add thinly sliced Anjou pears atop the melted brie, then sprinkle with fresh rosemary and thyme.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic reduction before serving.
