  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 dried chili peppers (optional)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch until smooth.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced chicken and sauté until golden brown (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and dried chili peppers (if using). Sauté for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in chopped red and green bell peppers; cook for about 3 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. Pour in the prepared sauce mixture and stir until it thickens (about 2-3 minutes).
