Method
- Mix warm water, honey, and yeast in a bowl. Let sit until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
- Peel and dice apples. Cook with brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add cornstarch to thicken.
- Transfer risen dough to greased 9×13-inch pan. Press and stretch dough to fit pan.
- Top dough with apple mixture, pressing gently. Let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 425°F for 22–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk powdered sugar and milk to make glaze. Drizzle over warm focaccia.
