Prepare the Grapefruit
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the grapefruits in half and carefully remove the segments with a sharp knife, leaving the membranes intact.
Mix the Topping
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until well combined.
Caramelize the Grapefruit
- Place the grapefruit halves on a baking sheet, cut side up. Spoon the brown sugar mixture evenly over each half.
- Place the baking sheet under the broiler for about 5-7 minutes, or until the sugar is bubbly and caramelized. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
Serve
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
