  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cups grated Parmesan cheese

  • 0.33 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone inside if using.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
  3. Heat olive oil in a small pan and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Transfer the dough to a parchment-lined sheet or pizza peel.
  2. Brush crust with olive oil, spread garlic evenly, then top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  3. Bake the pizza for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  4. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil. Add crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
  5. Let it rest for 2 minutes before slicing and serving.
