  • 6-8 pieces chicken legs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce optional

Method
 

  1. Pat chicken legs dry with paper towels.
  2. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken legs and rub in the spice mix evenly.
  4. Place seasoned chicken legs in a single layer in the crock pot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until fully cooked.
  6. If using BBQ sauce, brush it on the legs during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  7. For crispy skin, broil in the oven for 3-5 minutes before serving.
