- Pat chicken legs dry with paper towels.
- Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken legs and rub in the spice mix evenly.
- Place seasoned chicken legs in a single layer in the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until fully cooked.
- If using BBQ sauce, brush it on the legs during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- For crispy skin, broil in the oven for 3-5 minutes before serving.
