Frosting
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.

  3. Pour batter into a greased 9×13-inch pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  4. Let the bars cool completely before frosting.
Frosting
  1. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Spread frosting evenly over cooled bars.
  3. Slice into 20 squares and serve.
