  • 1 medium carrot, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced

Seasonings & Stock
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until soft, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in diced carrots and celery. Cook for 5 minutes, then add frozen peas.
  4. Mix in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and beef stock. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  5. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, allowing flavors to meld. For a thicker consistency, stir in a cornstarch slurry.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
