Method
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pour about 2 tablespoons of honey onto the parchment paper in a rectangular shape measuring approximately 2x3 inches.
- Place one-sixth of the thinly sliced pear pieces over the honey layer on the parchment paper.
- Lightly roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface and cut it into six equal rectangles. Place one pastry rectangle over each arrangement of pear slices.
- Using a brush, apply the beaten egg over each pastry rectangle.
- Place the tarts in the preheated oven and bake until golden brown and flaky, about 13 to 16 minutes.
