Ingredients
  

  • 2 pears Thinly sliced for a tender texture.
  • 3/4 cup honey Adds natural sweetness and flavor depth.
  • 1 sheet puff pastry Thawed if frozen, for a flaky base.

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pour about 2 tablespoons of honey onto the parchment paper in a rectangular shape measuring approximately 2x3 inches.
  3. Place one-sixth of the thinly sliced pear pieces over the honey layer on the parchment paper.
  4. Lightly roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface and cut it into six equal rectangles. Place one pastry rectangle over each arrangement of pear slices.
  5. Using a brush, apply the beaten egg over each pastry rectangle.
  6. Place the tarts in the preheated oven and bake until golden brown and flaky, about 13 to 16 minutes.
