Ingredients
  

  • 5 pounds ground beef
  • 5 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2.5 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 5 teaspoons salt
  • 2.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley optional

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic, Parmesan, milk, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch balls.
  4. Pour a thin layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of the crockpot.
  5. Layer meatballs in the crockpot, pouring marinara sauce between each layer.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
