  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger

Sauce Ingredients
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 0.33 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (for sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (for sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Garnish
  • sliced green onions for garnish (optional)
  • sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic, ginger, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  2. Roll into 1 1/2-inch meatballs (about 24 total). Optionally brown in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes.
  3. Add meatballs to a greased slow cooker insert in a single layer.
  4. In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, water, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch.
  5. Pour sauce over meatballs. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
