Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the brown sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together almond milk, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
