Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fruit juice use your favorite flavor
  • 3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin helps achieve the gummy texture
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup for sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice optional, adds brightness

Equipment

  • Silicone molds
  • Saucepan
  • Dropper or spoon

Method
 

  1. Place silicone molds on a tray and lightly spray with non-stick spray if needed.
  2. Pour the fruit juice into a saucepan off heat and sprinkle gelatin on top. Let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  3. Turn on low heat and stir gently until the gelatin fully dissolves. Do not boil. Add sweetener and lemon juice.
  4. Use a dropper or spoon to fill the molds with the mixture. Work quickly before it sets.
  5. Refrigerate the filled molds for at least 2 hours until gummies are firm.
  6. Pop the gummies out of molds and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
