Ingredients
  

Casserole Base
  • 2 cups corn kernels fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup creamed corn
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg beaten
Honey Glaze
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the Casserole
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine corn kernels, creamed corn, sour cream, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, and beaten egg. Mix well until combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Make the Honey Glaze
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  2. Drizzle the honey glaze over the corn mixture in the baking dish.
Bake the Casserole
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
