- Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and butter the surface.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, and butter over medium heat. Stir until boiling.
- Boil for 4–5 minutes while stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Pour mixture into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Let it set at room temperature for several hours or refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Once firm, lift out and cut into squares.
