  • 8 large croissants
  • 8 oz sliced ham
  • 8 oz sliced roasted turkey
  • 8 oz sliced Swiss cheese
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1.5 cups whole milk
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Cut croissants in half lengthwise. Layer half in the bottom of the dish.
  2. Add half the ham, half the turkey, and half the cheese over the croissants. Repeat with the remaining layers.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, mustard, maple syrup, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour custard evenly over the casserole. Gently press down. Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F. Let the casserole sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  6. Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes or until golden and set.
  7. Let cool 10 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with warm raspberry jam.
