Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
Filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream chilled
  • 1/4 cup orange juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the crust
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even layer.
Make the filling
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar, orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
Assemble the cheesecake
  1. Pour the filling over the prepared crust and spread it evenly.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
Serve
  1. Once set, remove the cheesecake from the springform pan and slice into servings.
  2. Garnish with additional orange zest if desired and serve chilled.
