Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp maple syrup Natural sweetener that enhances the flavor profile.
  • 1 tsp baking powder Ensures your donuts rise perfectly.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Adds depth and enhances sweetness.
  • 1 tsp cinnamon A warm spice that complements the pumpkin.
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice Elevates the fall flavors.
  • 1/2 tbsp coconut butter Creates a creamy icing.
  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup Sweetens the icing naturally.
  • 1/2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk Helps achieve the right consistency for icing.

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F (175C).
  2. Whisk together two eggs until frothy.
  3. Combine all donut ingredients and mix until smooth.
  4. Spray a donut pan with nonstick spray and fill each cavity three-quarters full.
  5. Bake for 20-22 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Mix together coconut butter, almond milk, and maple syrup for icing while donuts bake.
