  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter

Method
 

  1. Melt the butter in a large bowl and whisk in the granulated and brown sugars until fully blended.
  2. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
  3. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir until just combined with no dry streaks.
  4. Pour batter into a greased or parchment-lined 8×8-inch pan.
  5. Dollop peanut butter in spoonfuls across the top and swirl using a skewer or knife.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
