- Melt the butter in a large bowl and whisk in the granulated and brown sugars until fully blended.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir until just combined with no dry streaks.
- Pour batter into a greased or parchment-lined 8×8-inch pan.
- Dollop peanut butter in spoonfuls across the top and swirl using a skewer or knife.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
