Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 3 cups frozen shredded hash browns
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
  3. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread hash browns evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  4. Add the cooked sausage over the hash browns. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over all ingredients in the dish evenly.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.
  7. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
