Ingredients
  

Beef and Vegetables
  • 1 pound flank steak sliced into thin strips
  • 1 medium green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
Sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch for thickening
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Slice the flank steak into thin strips and set aside.
  2. Slice the green and red bell peppers and onion.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, garlic powder, ginger, and black pepper until smooth.
Combine in Slow Cooker
  1. Place the sliced steak, bell peppers, and onion in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables, stirring to combine.
Cook
  1. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the beef is tender.
Serve
  1. Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with additional bell pepper if desired.

Notes
