  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese cut into 16 cubes
Pasta
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • few drops green food coloring
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
Decoration (optional)
  • 1 pack candy eyeballs
  • 4 ounces mozzarella
  • 8 slices black olives

Method
 

Meatball Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix just until combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 16 portions. Flatten each and stuff with a cube of mozzarella. Roll into balls.
Baking
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Place meatballs on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 18–20 minutes until fully cooked.
Pasta Cooking
  1. Boil a pot of water, add green food coloring, and cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and toss with marinara sauce.
Assembly
  1. Place meatballs on top of the spaghetti. Decorate with candy eyes or mozzarella/olive slices to make them look like monsters.
