Ingredients
  

  • 2 apples cored and diced
  • 2 pears cored and diced
  • 1 cup red grapes halved
  • 1 cup green grapes halved
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 2 mandarin oranges peeled and segmented
  • 1 banana optional, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon or orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped mint or pecans optional

Method
 

  1. Wash and dry all fruits thoroughly. Core and dice apples and pears. Halve the grapes. Peel and segment the mandarins. Slice the banana if using.
  2. Whisk together honey and lemon or orange juice in a small bowl to make the dressing.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, gently combine all the fruits.
  4. Pour the citrus-honey dressing over the fruit and toss gently to coat.
  5. Top with pomegranate seeds and optionally garnish with mint or chopped pecans. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
