Ingredients

  • 16 oz Rotini pasta I used multicolored vegetable (about 8 cups cooked)
  • 1/2-3/4 cup Italian Dressing Adjust based on your flavor preference
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers Diced for added sweetness and color
  • 1/2 large yellow onion Diced to give depth to the salad
  • 2 oz black olives Sliced for a briny kick
  • 1/2 large cucumber Peeled and diced for freshness and crunch
  • 12 slices Buddig Honey chicken ham Chopped to provide protein and flavor
  • 10 sticks Frigo Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese Chopped for creamy texture and taste
  • 1 cup Old Wisconsin Turkey Sausage Sticks Sliced thinly to add heartiness
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated for a savory finish
  • 1 small pie pumpkin For serving; adds a festive touch

Method

  1. Cook the rotini pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain the pasta thoroughly and set it aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a large bowl, add the cooked rotini along with diced roasted red peppers, yellow onion, sliced black olives, diced cucumber, chopped honey chicken ham, cheddar cheese sticks, and turkey sausage sticks. Mix these ingredients well.
  3. Pour in 1/2 cup of Italian dressing over the combined ingredients in the bowl. Toss everything together gently until all components are coated with dressing.
  4. Taste the salad and decide if you want more dressing based on your personal preference. If desired, add additional Italian dressing gradually until you reach your preferred level of flavor.
  5. Transfer your colorful salad into a serving dish, making sure to present it attractively. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top for an extra layer of flavor.
  6. Cover the salad and place it in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve it up. Chilling allows all the flavors to develop further.
