Preparation
- Soak the Medjool dates in warm water for 10 minutes to soften, then drain.
- Add walnuts and almonds to a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
- Add dates, cacao powder, vanilla, and salt. Process until the mixture is sticky and forms a dough.
- Press the mixture firmly into a parchment-lined pan.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Slice into squares and serve.
